NEW Online Service Portal for Permits, Planning Applications and Payments Services now available online
The City has just launched a new online Citizen Self Service Portal (CSS). Now, you can apply for Building, Fire and Engineering Permits, submit planning applications, and pay any associated invoices for permit or application fees all online.
To access these new services, you must first create an account on the new online CSS portal. Once your have registered for an account, you will also be able to monitor the status of your applications, request inspections, upload plans, and collaborate with City staff.
Common services available include:
- Building Permits for Block Walls, Additions, Alterations, Solar Panels, Pools, Roofs, Decks, Demolitions, Plumbing, etc.
- Fire Permits for Fire Alarm and Detection Systems, Fire Sprinklers, Hood and Duct Suppression Systems, Sprinkler Monitoring Systems, etc.
- Engineering Permits for Grading Plan Checks, Encroachment Plan Checks, Improvement Plan Checks, and Transportation Permits.
- Planning Application Submittals for Commercial Design Review, Conditional Use Permits, Extension of Time, General Plan Amendments, Landscape Plan Checks, Preliminary Application Review, Signs, Temporary Use Permits, etc.
