Now delievering groceries to those affected with cancer

First off, I miss seeing you all so much. We always loved your surprise drop-ins, whether you were in to say hi or were bringing a new client to us. So many of you are the reason why people know of Michelle's Place. Because, unfortunately, we all know someone affected by cancer.

That is why I am calling on you now to keep spreading the word that Michelle's Place is still offering their services, remotely. Currently, our patient navigators have been calling clients to check in on them and see what their needs are. As you can imagine, groceries are a huge need right now. So, we have answered that call and have been shopping for our client’s special needs (like protein drinks, jello, popsicles, fresh fruit, veggies, and milk). In addition, we supplement these groceries with a box of canned goods and non-perishables that we received from Tammy Marine of Habitat for Humanity, and deliver them to their doorstep. And, if they are eligible for our Pink Ribbon Assistance Program, they receive grocery gift cards too.

Your continued support through these challenging times will help us to ensure cancer patients have a resource in our community to turn to. We may need to change the way we provide support, but regardless, we are just a phone call away. DONATE HERE to help during this time. Thank you!
