RIVERSIDE COUNTY ISSUES PROCLAMATION OF LOCAL EMERGENCY AND CURFEW
WILDOMAR, CA – The County of Riverside issued a Proclamation of Local Emergency (Riverside County Ordinance No. 533) on Monday, June 1, 2020, declaring a state of emergency in all of Riverside County and imposing a curfew from 6:00 pm on June 1, 2020 until 6:00 am on June 2, 2020.

“The County has implemented this curfew for the safety of law enforcement, businesses and the public at large due to the potential of rioting,” said Mayor Dustin Nigg. “The City of Wildomar stands 100% behind the County’s decision to impose this curfew. Everyone please stay home and stay safe.”

Any violation of the curfew is a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment of up to six (6) months in jail, a fine of up to one thousand ($1,000) dollars, or both.
