Close proximity to major interstates that connect our region to San Diego County, San Bernardino County, Orange County, and Los Angeles County make our region a central location for resources and networking. Railroad services in the area connect Riverside County businesses with important markets, ports of entry, and key airports to complete major national and international commerce transactions. 

A Talent Pool for New Opportunities

Our region is home to a highly educated population with 90% of residents having graduated from high school, 38% having some college education, and 27% having a bachelor's degree or higher. Colleges in the area include a Mt. San Jacinto College campus, Azusa Pacific University campus, and a California State University San Marcos campus. These colleges serve students from the region, including those in San Jacinto, Menifee Valley, Temecula Valley, and more.

Current Industries in the Area

Southwest Riverside county is home to several economic sectors, including medical device research and development, electronics, defense manufacturing, injection molding, building products, brewing and distillation, agriculture winemaking, and tourism. With the recent expansion of several local hospitals, health services are among the fastest-growing segments of the economy. Our medical industry is training and employing a new generation of physicians, nurses, and staff to meet the complexities of various healthcare specialties.
